MARCH 2016 EVENT:
The Moapa Valley OHV Roundup will take place March 25-27 in Moapa Valley NV. This Bi-Annual Event is FREE to attendees! The main staging for the event will be on private land just south of Overton, Map to be displayed soon.
In February 2015, the Clark County Commissioners voted unanimously to approve an ordinance officially making Moapa Valley friendly to Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) use. The OHV-friendly designation has been sought by community leaders for a long time. For five years or more, Partners in Conservation (PIC) Administrator Elise McAllister, of Moapa, has headed a special task force to make key local roadways legal for OHV use. The goal was to allow access to and from public lands on the periphery of the community. Read the full article in the Moapa Valley Progress. The Moapa Valley OHV Roundup was organized to celebrate this first ever Clark County OHV Friendly Community designation.

This designation was earned after several years of hard work by many people and organization, especially Partners in Conservation (PIC). PIC has earned a reputation as good stewards of Public Land from their years and years of experience balancing the line between Responsible Off Road Use and Governmental Rules and Regulations. PIC works hard to educate people on how to enjoy the freedom to ride, while making the least impact on the land.
This \”OHV Friendly Designation\” is brand new for Clark County and we do not want the county to regret offering us this great honor, so please be sure to follow all the rules and regulations relating to Off Road Use in Moapa Valley.
